The LATEX children's mattress, measuring 70x160 cm, belongs to the mattresses that offer the option to choose between mattress sides depending on which is more comfortable for the child. One side is made of PUR foam and the other side consists of a 3 cm layer of highly elastic latex foam. A comfortable mattress for children of all ages.
Under the removable cover of the LATEX children's mattress lies the mattress core itself, which consists of two layers of different materials. Each material has its unique properties, ensuring a quality and healthy sleep for children.
1st layer of the mattress - polyurethane foam (PUR)
High-quality polyurethane foam is the softer side of the mattress. The foam is uniformly firm and flexible across its entire surface. On the mattress firmness scale, it is considered medium-firm (3 out of 1-5). This firmness meets the requirements for children's mattresses for everyday sleeping.
2nd layer of the mattress - latex foam
Highly elastic latex foam with ventilation channels ensures optimal air circulation and thus a comfortable sleep. This layer is very pleasant, soft, supple, and at the same time retains its shape (it immediately returns to its original shape after compression).
The latex side of the mattress feels softer than the PUR foam side.
It's up to the children which side of the mattress they prefer to use. To maintain the mattress's longevity, don't forget to get a mattress protector.

PUR foam T25
T25 foam meets the standard requirements for polyurethane (hereinafter referred to as PUR) foam used in mattresses for smaller children - you can find it mostly in mattresses from 160 cm in length. The mattress containing this mattress in the core is medium firm - 3 on a scale of 1-5. Ourbaby mattresses have PUR foam with the T25 mark and a compression resistance of 4.2 kPa. The designation T25 means a density of 25 kg/m³ . Sometimes PUR foam is known in the Czech environment as "molitan".
LATEX foam
The 3 cm thick latex foam meets the high requirements for comfort and ergonomics of mattresses. It provides excellent point elasticity and perfect adaptation to the body shape. The composition made of 20% natural rubber and 80% synthetic latex combines natural elasticity with high resistance and long-term shape retention. In addition, latex is naturally hypoallergenic, has excellent ventilation and is resistant to dust mites .
