The VISCO children's mattress, measuring 120x200 cm, belongs to the range of mattresses that offer the option to choose between the sides of the mattress according to which side the child finds more comfortable. One side is made of PUR foam and the other side consists of a 3 cm thin layer of memory foam. Older children will appreciate the mattress for everyday sleeping, while younger children can also use it for occasional sleeping.

Under the removable cover of the VISCO children's mattress is the mattress core itself, made up of two layers of different materials. Each material has its own unique properties, thanks to which children can enjoy comfortable and healthy sleep.

1st mattress layer - polyurethane foam (PUR)

High-quality polyurethane foam is the softer side of the mattress. The foam has the same firmness and elasticity across its entire surface. On the mattress firmness scale, it is medium firm (3 out of 1-5). This firmness meets the requirements for children's mattresses intended for everyday sleeping.

2nd mattress layer - VISCO memory foam

You may know memory foam as slow-recovery or viscoelastic foam. The unique property of slow-recovery foam is its ability to immediately adapt to the body of the person lying on it and, once they get up, quickly return to its original shape. This type of foam is recommended more for adults or people with health issues.

Sleeping on this side, however, is more suitable for older children (approx. 12 years and up). The height of the memory foam layer is 2-3 cm, which meets the recommended maximum for older children. While children are still growing, they first need to sleep on the side with PUR foam, which retains its shape and does not change it. Sleeping on the memory foam layer is therefore suitable for smaller children (up to 4 years) rather for occasional use, or once they have grown older.

It is up to the children which side of the mattress they prefer to use. To help the mattress last as long as possible, do not forget to purchase a mattress protector.
