The VISCO children's mattress in the size 140x200 cm belongs to mattresses that give you the option to choose between the two sides of the mattress according to which one is more comfortable for the child. One side is made of PUR foam and the other side consists of a 3 cm thin layer of memory foam. Older children will appreciate the mattress for everyday sleeping, but younger children can also use it for occasional sleeping.

Under the removable cover of the VISCO children's mattress is the mattress core itself, which consists of two layers made of different materials. Each of the materials has its own unique properties, thanks to which children can enjoy high-quality, healthy sleep.

1st mattress layer - polyurethane foam (PUR)

High-quality polyurethane foam is the softer side of the mattress. The foam has the same firmness and elasticity across the entire surface. On the mattress firmness scale, it is medium-firm (3 on a scale of 1-5). This firmness meets the requirements placed on children's mattresses for everyday sleeping.

2nd mattress layer - VISCO memory foam

You may know memory foam as slow-recovery or viscoelastic foam. The unique property of slow-recovery foam is its ability to immediately adapt to the body of the person lying on it and, once they get up, to return immediately to its original state. This type of foam is recommended more for adults or people with health problems.

However, sleeping on this side is more suitable for older children (approx. 12 years and over). The height of the memory layer is 2-3 cm, which meets the recommended maximum for older children. While children are still growing, they should first sleep on the side with PUR foam, which retains its shape and does not change it. Sleeping on the memory foam layer is therefore more suitable for smaller children (up to 4 years) only occasionally, or once they have grown older.

It is up to the children which side of the mattress they prefer to use. To help the mattress last as long as possible, do not forget to purchase a mattress protector.
