Stark is a mattress for older children. It has two sides with different firmness levels, H2 and H3, to perfectly adapt to the user's preferences. The STARK mattress, available in various sizes and with a thickness of 13 cm (12 cm core), is characterized by the highest quality workmanship, providing not only exceptional comfort but also durability for many years of intensive use. The use of innovative materials such as foams and Tencel knit makes our youth mattress unbeatable in ergonomic support, promoting healthy sleep habits. Thanks to advanced Air Pro ventilation technologies, our mattress provides optimal air circulation, helping to maintain a fresh and healthy sleeping environment for a developing organism.

2-in-1 - ideally adapt the mattress to your child's needs

Thanks to two independent sides, you can ideally adapt the product to your child's needs.

We made the STARK mattress from two types of foams:

• exclusive, highly elastic VitaRest® HR 35 (purple color). This type of foam provides medium-firm sleep H2.
• highest quality T30 foam (white color). This side has a repeating profile with significantly deeper ventilation channels. It provides a slightly firmer sleep.

Innovative ventilation system – Air Pro

• It is a modern technology that allows the mattress to "breathe," ensuring your child an ideal temperature and sleep hygiene.

Up to 2 different sleeping surfaces

• Different firmness of each side of the mattress gives you the freedom to adapt the mattress to your child's comfort. One side is recommended for children preferring firmer sleep, the other is softer.

Intended use:

Rücken mattresses ensure free air circulation, preventing excessive sweating during sleep. The advantages of the mattresses are flexibility and orthopedic properties, i.e., they adapt to the shape of the body and the positions you take during sleep, thus the spine has proper and even support along its entire length.

The mentioned properties allow fulfilling the intended use of these mattresses, namely:

• prevention of pressure sores,
• support of the rehabilitation process in children with posture defects,
• prevention of developmental defects of the musculoskeletal system in children.

Air Pro – integrated ventilation system, the mattress breathes

Air Pro is a system designed in the mattress to ensure optimal temperature and sleep hygiene for your child. Air Pro includes:

• Numerous horizontal ventilation channels on both sleeping surfaces are integrated with vertical channels running through the thickness of the mattress and channels cut inside the core. Such a construction allows free air supply to the children's mattress through a 3D ventilation mesh sewn around the entire cover.
• Free ventilation helps maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature, reduces the number of awakenings caused by overheating, lowers the risk of bacteria, mold, mildew, and mite development, thus improving your child's sleep hygiene.

• Very high foam weight VitaRest® 35 kg/m3 ensures that the foam does not deform in the children's mattress even with very long-term and very intensive use
• Relieves neck and back pain, provides anti-decubitus effect
• Unique foam properties ensure less pressure on the most protruding parts of the body, reducing the load on intervertebral discs
• VitaRest® foam construction ensures better airflow than regular PUR foams, reducing sweating

We have sewn a ventilation mesh around the entire mattress, which works with the mattress's ventilation channels.

The cover mesh and vertical and horizontal channels are fully integrated - creating an extended network and allowing the mattress to breathe.

VitaRest® HR 3532 is also an antibacterial foam with "Ultra Fresh" certification

• No bacteria, mold, or mites develop on the sleeping surface in the crib
• Recommended for its properties for the production of children's mattresses, especially for infants and allergy sufferers
• The foam remains odorless and free of unwanted microorganisms for longer, does not undergo rotting – hygienic sleep

Mattress cover – noble TENCEL™ fiber

The cover on our crib mattress is made from high-quality knit, from modern TENCEL™ fibers of natural origin. It is gentle on the skin, but importantly, it effectively manages moisture. Rücken is also naturally antibacterial and anti-allergic, which significantly cooperates with the antibacterial core of the children's mattress. What's most important about our cover:

• TENCEL™ absorbs and releases 50% more water vapor into the environment than cotton, is noble to the touch and durable, unique fiber properties ensure that on cold nights it provides warmth and in summer pleasantly cools
• Studies show that bacteria on TENCEL™ covers multiply significantly slower than on polyester or cotton covers
• Cover made from TENCEL™ fibers of natural origin, made from cellulose, i.e., wood
• Easy to maintain cleanliness, stable even with repeated washing at temperatures up to 60°C

Double-sided mattress – two sides with different firmness

Double-sidedness is like having two mattresses in the crib at the same time. Both sleeping surfaces have different firmness and have differently constructed ventilation profiles on the sleeping surface

• Side with purple antibacterial VitaRest® HR foam, this is a gentle wave structure for those preferring medium-firm sleep H2
• Side of white foam has a repeating profile with significantly deeper ventilation channels. Side for those preferring slightly firmer sleep H2→H3.

Cover with 360° zipper – can wash half of the cover

It's good to remember that the cleanliness of the crib mattress guarantees less exposure of your child to allergens and bacteria. With this in mind, we used a 360° zipper in our products, which:

• Divides the cover into two parts. This solution allows washing only the soiled half of the mattress cover.
• When washing the soiled part, it fits more easily into the washing machine and is also easier to put back on. The cover is suitable for washing at 60°C.
• For your child's safety, we hid the 360° zipper slider under the Rücken label

Certificates confirming the highest quality

All components of our mattresses are certified by Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and made from the highest quality raw materials.

Products awarded the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 mark are free from harmful substances in concentrations that negatively affect human health, including pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, prohibited azo dyes, and extractable heavy metals.

We cut the foams of our mattresses on-site with the utmost care, under the supervision of experienced technologists, in one of the most modern cutting plants in Poland.
