Learning fractions doesn't have to be difficult. All you need is the right didactic tool. Is 1/3 more than 3/8? And what exactly is going on with those parts? How do you divide a whole into five parts? These and other questions will find answers thanks to this educational wooden puzzle.
The puzzle consists of a wooden base and eight colorful rows. The first row has only one piece to show one whole. In the following rows, there is a corresponding number of pieces, illustrating the respective fraction. So in the second row, we have two halves, in the third, three thirds, in the fourth, four quarters, and so on. Thanks to the graphical form of the puzzle, a child will more easily understand the rules of fractions. And once they understand it with a simple example, they can handle more complex ones. To make it easier, fractions of the same kind have one color.
